The UFC has been hit with another big time injury, as Tony Ferguson will no longer fight Khabib Nurmagomedov, at the promotion’s April 16th card in Tampa. The lightweight scrap was supposed to headline UFC on FOX 19.
As a result of Ferguson’s injury, the light-heavyweight fight between Glover Teixeira and Rashad Evans will be the new headliner.
Since the UFC confirmed the news, Ferguson tweeted out the following details regarding his withdrawal.

So, that’s an unfortunate setback for Ferguson, and it’s huge blow to Nurmagomedov. The galaxy class grappler hasn’t fought now since April, 2014. The UFC is still trying to determine if he’ll remain on the card.
