Anderson Silva

If for some odd reason you’ve been on the fence about whether you’re going to watch UFC 198, chances are you’re about to change that position.

Yes, as the headline above indicates, the UFC is reportedly targeting a scrap between Anderson Silva and Uriah Hall for May 14th. That’s the day UFC 198 will go down in Silva’s hometown of Curitiba, Brazil.

Sherdog.com reported the UFC’s plans first, and MMA Fighting.com has also received word from sources that the fight’s in the works.

Silva (33-7) and his team have been driving to get him on the upcoming card, since he was decisioned by Michael Bisping last month.

Hall (12-6) is coming off a decision loss to Robert Whittaker in November.

So, who wouldn’t want to see these two talented strikers throw down? And do so in the Arena da Baixada?

The upcoming event will feature heavyweight champ Fabricio Werdum facing Stipe Miocic in the main event. In the co-headliner, Vitor Belfort will take on fellow middleweight contender “Jacare” Souza. UFC 198 is going to be one crazy card.
