I was sort of hoping that like some of the UK events the time difference would maybe prompt 112 to be a “free-per-view”, but I should have known better when I saw how they were stacking the card with a pair of title fights.
Oh well, its not like I was doing anything with that $45 anyway…

    hey guys
    first time usin the frenzy
read it all the time but ill start commenting now
anyways this card is sick except the lightweights are starting to run out of fighters that can actually contend with bj
and the welterweights as well for that matter
i think bj will walk through frankie edgar easily
and gsp through dan hardy as well

I agree with you. The things is, there are good fighters in those divisions but they haven’t put together a long enough streak to be considered i guess. For example Guida might be a better opponent, but he lost his last fight(s) (albeit to good opponents who also fought BJ). If Sam Stout or Joe Stepson wins their next fight ins spectacular fashion, or wins a couple more fights I see one of them being next in line. Same goes for welterweights. I’d love to Koschek go at it, or even Sadollah, but neither has a long enough streak to be considered yet. Daley is another up and comer but hasn’t really cemented himself as a true contender. As of now he’s just a one trick pony, although pretty good at the one one trick. And since Sanchez is back in the mix who knows.

I have to agree that 155 is looking weak. But the heavyweight division looked horrible not too long ago, and now there are lots of guys that I feel have a decent shot at the title.

I’m ok with that start time it gives me a reason to start drinkin ealry…not that i need one. Should be a fun card. i have silva and bj retaining pretty easy.

  • Rosie Perez says:

ya i didnt know who would be next 4 bj after he walked through diego, who i think is beast. edgars name announced kind of surprised me.

also im gonna have to stay off the internet that day until i actually watch the fights i dont want to be tempted to find out who won and then make bets with my friends again.

Whats up guys this is my first comment also. This looks to be one of the sickest cards yet to come or 2010, but yet again it seems to me that some of these weight divisions r running out of dangerous contenders that would actually give our champions the challenge.Bj Penn and GSP are untouchable right now while Silva, Machida, and Brock still have some threats in their diviosions. Dont get me wrong i love all the current champions but i also want to see some sparks fly when they each face a top contender.
