UFC FN 84: Anderson Silva Argues UD Loss Similar to “Total Corruption” in Brazil

Yesterday’s UFC FN 84 headliner was likely greeted with plenty of ‘it could have gone either ways’, but it sounds like Anderson Silva believes he was robbed.

Silva left Bisping battered and bloodied in London, England, but the latter also landed his fair share of big shots during the bout. In round two, he even floored the former middleweight champ.

Following the fight, which was awarded to the British fighter via UD, Silva relayed the following (quote via MMA Fighting.com):

“Here’s the deal, you can’t win one way, they try to take it away the other way. That’s it,” the Brazilian star said in Portuguese. “You saw how that went, right? So, there’s nothing left to say. I fought for you, and that’s it. Thank you for the support. My family, I’m coming back home, I’m fine. Mission accomplished, mission given, but sometimes it’s like in Brazil, total corruption.”

Silva thought he had won the fight in round three, after he cracked Bisping with a flying knee, as the latter called on the ref to give him back his mouthpiece. The round, however, had only ended.
