Anderson Silva has pretty much accomplished it all during his storied career, but according to his manager, the former champ continues to draw motivation from his doubters.
Silva is scheduled to fight Michael Bisping today at UFC Fight Night 84, which will mark the first time he’s fought, since his suspension for PEDs ended. While a lot of people believe Silva can get by Bisping, there’s others who don’t, and many who doubt he can win the 185 title once again.
Recently Silva’s manager, Ed Soares, spoke to MMA Junkie.com. While discussing the fighter, he stated:
“Anderson has always told me, ‘I don’t think I’m the greatest. I just believe I can do things that people think are impossible Right now, I believe the world thinks it’s impossible for him to possibly win this fight and even come back and get the title. I think that’s a big motivator, and I think if anybody can come back after everything that he’s been through and get that title back, it’s Anderson.”
It’s going to be an interesting day. No question.
