Andrei Arlovski Believes he May be Able to “Persuade UFC” to Let Him Fight Fedor

Andrei Arlovski has repeatedly said that he wants to fight Fedor Emelianenko one more time, and although the latter’s not a UFC fighter, “The Pitbull” thinks it’s still a possibility.

Emelianeko took Arlovski out back in 2009, in a fight that became a fixture on highlight reels. Arlovski was winning the bout, but then the former PRIDE champ cracked him with a booming right hand, and that was that.

Emelianenko recently returned to the ring and defeated Jaideep Singh while fighting for Rizin FF. “The Last Emperor” is expected to fight for them again, but recently Arlovski told Blood & Sweat.ru the following (quote via Bloody Elbow.com):

“…I’ll pay you 10% if this fight happens,” said Arlovski. “We can discuss any conditions, but the only crucial points [of negotiation] for me are: accommodation, food and fly-over for me and my team. I think I can even persuade the UFC to let me fight outside the organization once.”

Would the UFC really let Arlovski fight Fedor for another promotion? It’s kind of hard to imagine no?
