There’s been a lot of talk lately about Wanderlei Silva possibly returning to the cage and or ring, and now the legendary fighter could be one step close.
As you likely recall, in 2014 Silva was handed a life time suspension from the Nevada Commission, after he failed to take a random drug test that was requested. Since then, however, a judge determined the ruling wasn’t fair, and tossed it out.
Well, on Wednesday, the Nevada Commission announced that Silva has been handed a three year suspension. Since the 39 year-old was originally disciplined nearly two years ago, this means Silva could apply for a license to fight next spring. The news is being reported by MMA Fighting.com and other outlets.
So, will “The Axe Murderer” fight again? Looks like it could happen no?
