Yes, Bellator has announced that the promotion has come to an “amicable agreement” with Jackson to end their lengthy, legal dispute. As a result, the former UFC light-heavyweight champ is returning to the organization where he’s gone 3-0. No details as to when Jackson will fight again were announced,
MMA Fighting.com is reporting that Jackson and Bellator have agreed to a new, two fight contract. Jackson returned to the UFC last year, after claiming that Bellator did not honor all the terms of his deal. Bellator, of course, disagreed.
The outspoken fighter earned a UD win over Fabio Maldonado at UFC 186 in April, but since then, the legal battle has kept him on the sidelines.
So, this is pretty big news for Bellator, who recently added Benson Henderson to their roster.
