“Strikeforce: Miami” Weigh-In Photos: Diaz, Cyborg, Walker, Lashley, and More

Fighter weigh-ins for Saturday’s “Strikeforce: Miami” event were held Friday at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida, the same venue which hosts tonight’s Showtime-televised event, and all of the card’s notable fighters successfully made weight.

sims is guna get pounded poor guy he thinks he’s real tough lol, diaz is the man i see him out strikeing the striker
yeah i see sims getting pounded but lawler out-striking melvin manhoef.. very very unlikely.. the man has the fastest strikes in the world.. njot to mention power behind them.. i see no chance for lawler unless he takes it to the ground
sorry wrong fight i eas thinkin of… not seein the diaz fight that way though.. diaz has to sub him to win.. no question
im excited for joe riggs vs jay heiron should be a really good fight both fighters could jump up the latter quite a bit with this win
ruthless dosent have mutch of a chance unless we see him chris leben MANHUFF
wes sims looks pretty confident but i dontt see him winning unless he can keep it standing but lashley probably wont allow that and ive never seen lashleys strikeing so i cant really say anything about that
nick diaz has some pretty good boxing but marius is a brute with strikeing and diaz can be rocked so it may end up like his fight with gomi,gomi drops him he submits him (hopefully minus the testing poistive for mary jane)
i dont have mutch interest in the hershel walker fight
im not gonna say who will win the cyborg marlos fight ive never seen marloes fight
does anyone know if this fight is on cbs as well as showtime. I am really looking forward to watching it but dont get showtime and i am not to sure what the superchannel is.
From what I’ve read CBS won’t be having Strikeforce: Miami. So it’s either pay for Showtime or do the internet watching thing.
And superchannel is a series of Canadian cable channels that shows movies, fights, etc. Kinda like HBO I guess, but without the stellar programming.
It’s a good thing that we Canadians have free health care and tim horton’s. It really takes the sting out of not having showtime and not being able to see this card.
We can get Strikeforce: Miami in Canada. Go into the high 500s if you’ve got Rogers and look for SC1 and SC2, Strikeforce is on SC2 tonight. It costs like $17 for the superchannels (the programing seems OK at best, some movies, shows Strikeforce and some boxing), but I’m going to just call Rogers and be like “Hey buddy, I noticed these new channels available for HD, can I preview them for a week”.
ya im up in northern ontario and i dont get superchannel i already called i guess im to far in the bush
