Justin Scoggins wants to become the UFC’s flyweight champ before the year is out, which is likely why he’s agreed to a quick, turnaround fight.

Scoggins earned an impressive, decision win over fellow flyweight prospect Ray Borg last weekend, and afterwards, “Tank” said he wants to fight for the title in 2016. The win moved Scoggins into the #12 spot at 125.

Well, the UFC has tapped Scoggins to fight Ben Nguyen at UFC Fight Night 85, which will take place on March 20th in Brisbane. Nguyen made his promotional debut last November and submitted Ryan Benoit.

In addition, the UFC has announced that a bantamweight fight between Leslie Smith and Rin Nakai has been added to UFC FN 85.

The card will feature a heavyweight fight between Mark Hunt and Frank Mir in the main event.
