UFC FN 82: Stephen Thompson’s Striking Game is Too Much For Johny Hendricks

Stephen Thompson

Stephen Thompson has likely silenced any doubters about his ability to challenge for the UFC’s 170 title, as “Wonderboy” needed less than one round to take out Johny Hendricks.

Thompson kept Hendricks at bay with kicks and footwork right out of the gate, and defended an early takedown attempt from the former champ. Then, the decorated striker stunned Hendricks with a spinning kick to the head, and closed out the fight with follow up punches.
