Carlos Newton or Karo would sure help Strikeforce if they could get either one with there WW or MW division
It also would be nice to get Joachim “Hellboy” Hansen for WEC. He would make for great fights at 145 or 135.
Joachim Hansen is NOT a fan of ZUFFA and most likely won’t be headed to the WEC nor the UFC even if he got an offer
145 or **155
Gegard vs King Mo will be good. Been waiting for king mo to get ko’d.
My guess is Karo “do you know who i am?” parysian will sign with strikeforce
Good move for torres, dellagrotte is a great trainer that will help him “fill” the “holes” in his seemingly perfect mma game.
JCVD like couture, is an anomaly and will not let age get in the way of victory!
Mo has been calling out Mousasi, and Mo is now training (for now) with Big Nog, Wanderlei, Babalu, Werdum and Mayhem, that’s prepairing for something…. Mousasi has (reportedly) gone off to train with GSP and Marquardt then will fly out to vegas for some more training, he too is making sure he is prepaird.. Mousasi should win, yet Mo might suprise some people ya never know, I just can’t wait to find out if the fight will be in Vegas or San Jose (I’m assuming Vegas but that is purely an assumption) the card in April is going to be awesome, and I’m hoping I will be in attendance for it!
Your right Mo should surprise some people just think Suc-joe was able to control Mousasi for a bit Mo is bigger and a better wrestler so I don’t see why he cann’t give Mousasi a good fight.
Yeah it should be interesting to see how mousasi handles a good wrestler unless mo foolishly wants to stand with him
Just wondering, where did you get your information that Joachim Hansen doesn’t like Zuffa? I understand why (with signing yourself completely to them), but that’s kinda a big mistake to not sign with one of the bigger promotions. Aoki i understand because he is from japan, but isn’t he even coming to strikeforce soon? I don’t imagine Japan is able to provide the recognition or pay that America can give. Fighters that fight in Japan are really only known by the hardcore fans in America.
Since ZUFFA’s purchase of PRIDE and their contract negotiations with Hansen, he felt as though they weren’t honoring his prior contract and tried to get him to fight for lesser money, and after winning the DREAM LW belt he was asked why he didn’t sign with the UFC and he stated he never would sign because they disrespected him blah blah blah…. Sorry I don’t have the exact article or link for you, nevertheless I stand by my statement
Sorry I’m on my BlackBerry rightnow here is the address to check out where I remember the anti~ZUFFA stance from

The title of the article says it all…wow.
:D
Gegard Mousasi vs. “King Mo” Lawal? Yep, this will be one of those fights where you are glad you are not in there. One of those kind of fights. I would think Mousasi will take this one, but you never know with Lawal. He not only can hit, but this guy is nasty on the ground. Whoever thought this one up did us a favor, because we’re in for one heck of a fight. It can’t last long, either.
It will be good for Parisyan to be back in the Octagon. He was literally too stressed out. Too much pressure on him to provide and it isn’t his duty to do that, either. Hopefully he re-structured his life and priorities.
Kang did not fare too well against Bisping, but take nothing away from Bisping. After his embarrasing loss to Henderson, he was not about to give a bad performance and he didn’t. Bisping fought the way he needed to fight and made many of us proud.
Condit hasn’t fared too well in the UFC, which surprised the sh*t out of me. I thought this guy was going to run through the welterweight division, but he still hasn’t posted a decent fight yet. He may not be cut out for the UFC.
Torres didn’t like what he was hearing from his crew, so he dumped them for some competitors and this will put him right back on top. Maybe not the very top, but at least he’ll be able to whip most of who he faces. Now everyone (thanks to his team) knows his jaw is made of glass. If he can man handle Benavidez, he’ll have proven to me that he is back. Drysdale and Dellagrotte both? This guy is serious. One thing we found out, he hates losing. Good sport, but hates to lose (especially by knock out).

I never dissed my old training partners. My loss was my own fault, I ran my own camps, too much travel. To get better I saught specialists.

Senor Mullet could do a lot worse and probably not much better than training with guys like Dellagrotte and Drysdale…
Condit vs Amir would be interesting. But they could have him and Sanchez fight depending on weather or not Diego fights Diaz.
Yeah, yeah, lots of awesome MMA news and the “return” to action of the wrong Van Damme, but am I the only one thats noticing more and more of the primate tropp that Brock Lesnar is the aplha male of making their way into the sport?
First Chris Tuchscherer, who was stopped by a hard-to-watch shot down in the South Park, and now Cole Konrad, who will probably be in the UFC by this time next year at the rate things are going?
And where Konrad goes, can his old NCAA wrestling arch-nemesis Steve Mocco be far behind?
In 3 years, maybe less, the UFC HW class and their struggles will look less and less like MMA and more and more like the opening scene of 2001: A Space Odyssey…
;)
Haha! That is funny Jcohl!
I was reading elsewhere (from Konrad fans) that Konrad is brilliant and how he can hang with Brock which no one else can do etc etc etc!
But we will find out, and yes you are right, he will be in the UFC by next year.
If Lesnar, Tuchscherer and Konrad find themselves in the UFC HW division would they pull an AKA on us or would they be willing to fight?
If you’ve ever watched the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet, you’ll see that in ages past Neandethal man often made war on those in his tribe when he saw fit, and more recently male gorillas of the same troop often fight amongst themselves, usually for status and resources like females and food [for the apes], and fat bank and the UFC HW title for the [somewhat] more evolved fighters.
So I’d be willing to bet that Lesnar would have no qualms about pushing in the sh!t of a former training partner/s if it meant remaining the champ and scoring the checks…
Wow, that last sentence was um…vivid. Funny though.
Off topic – Does anyone know when the next ufc card will be in the UK and where ?
Thanks
Sorry, Bert but I don’t think the UFC is coming to the UK for several more months. The current schedule that I know of runs through mid-June and none of those events are located in the UK.
Maybe Zuffa and SpikeTV should consider doing a UK version of The Ultimate Fighter, Team London Shootfighters versus Team WolfsLair or something, to sort of sate the UK’s appetite for MMA…
Im wondering if the previews of the JCVD fight will be a storyline of how his mentor died and now he is entering K-1 to venge his family and mentor. Add in some typical drama and his copywritten grunts and JCVD will fight to victory. haha
