Miesha Tate Calls Conor McGregor a “Genius” Following UFC 197 Press Conference

Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor stole the show at the UFC 197 press conference, and the person sitting beside him at the event, Miesha Tate, was pretty impressed with the performance.

If you saw the event, then you know that McGregor showed up 30 minutes late, and then proceeded to lay into Rafael dos Anjos, who he’ll face on March 5th. In addition, McGregor predicted he’ll KO the lightweight champ in less than 60 seconds, and he also blasted the UFC marketing department for the UFC 197 poster…

Well, Tate was also in attendance, since she’ll fight bantamweight champ Holly Holm in the co-headliner. Recently Tate had this to say about the whole experience on “The MMA Hour” (quote via Bloody Elbow.com):

“It’s kind of mind blowing, honestly. I have never sat next to Conor at a press conference,” Tate said. “I’ve heard his interviews and things like that, but I’ve never sat next to him and really just listened to him do his full gamut of mental warfare, and it was honestly pretty impressive.”

“I don’t know where this guy gets it from, but I mean he is really in his own right a genius.”

UFC 197 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
