If you’re a fan of watching flyweights throw down, then you’ll be pleased to hear that the UFC has booked a bout between two of the division’s top prospects.

The promotion has announced that the 22 year-old Ray Borg will battle 23 year-old Justin Scoggins at UFC 196 on February 6th.

Borg (9-1) has won three straight fights and is coming off a decision win over Geane Herrera in August.  “The TazMexican Devil” has gone 3-1 in the UFC to date and is ranked #11.

Scoggins (10-2) got back on the winning track in his last outing by decisioning Josh Sampo, after dropping consecutive bouts to John Moraga and Dustin Ortiz. “Tank” has gone 3-2 in the UFC to date.

So, that’s an interesting bout at 125 and will very likely entertain.

UFC 196 will be headlined by a rematch between heavyweight champ Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez.
