So Donald Cerrone is Fighting Welterweight Tim Means Next…

Donald Cerrone

Donald Cerrone likes to stay busy, and evidently, he likes to do so even after he’s incurred a quick stoppage defeat. Yes, only a┬ácouple weeks after Cerrone was taken out by lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on FOX 17, the promotion has announced he’ll throw down with welterweight Tim Means on February 21st.

The fight will headline UFC Fight Night 82, which will go down in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Now, if you’re a big time MMA fan then chances are you’re sporting a mighty grin right now. Both Cerrone and Means are ridiculously dangerous and versatile strikers, so, ya. This is a bout that’s almost certain to please.

Case in point, Means is coming off an emphatic, KO win over John Howard last month. “The Dirty Bird” is 4-1 in his last five bouts, and three of his victories during that stretch were by finish. The loss came against Matt Brown, and if you saw that fight, you know it was barn burner.

Cerrone, on the other hand, had won eight straight prior to taking on dos Anjos.
