Though the UFC still lists today as the official “on sale” date for the event, tickets for UFC 78 will reportedly be going on sale to the general public NEXT Saturday, October 6th.
The UFC has not issued an update to their initial announcement that tickets were to go on sale today, September 29th, though based on the original timeline tickets are likely to go on sale to UFC Fight Club members on Tuesday, October 2nd, and to UFC newsletter subscribers on Thursday, October 4th.

i don’t if anyone else is having problem but i having difficulties getting tickets for ufc 78. maybe they made a mistake with the dates?
i’m also thinking they made a mistake with the name. “Validation”? What is it, a parking garge stub? super-lame. just name ‘em after the fight
I don’t understand why there is no title fight scheduled for UFC 78? It’s not fair to ask fans that work hard for their money to shell out forty bucks for a PPV, when there is no title fight for a PPV, unless the card is fully loaded like UFC 76.
Yeah, this is wierd. They made a mention of it on UFC 76 and said the tix would be on sale today. It might be because of the Sherk situation, but Im shocked they havent made a statement about it yet.
Hey Kris, Im here in Davenport home of MFS, and its my hometown. Actually moving back here at the end of Oct. Now im a huge Matt Hughes fan as you know…but you made a post a while back about Hughes leaving the MFS. This may be he say she say, but a reaally good friend of mine is friends with Jermey Horns cousin. I guess he said the reason why Hughes is leaving MFS is because he was messing around with Pats wife…. do you know of any truth to this?? Please let me know if you know anything…..if thats the case…thats messed up
I did hear that but it was quickly denied. That is all I have to go on and taking Hughes’ background into account I think its entirely gossip and nothing more.
pretty muck all the good fights are done for this year..the cards are getting lame..lots of injuries and surgeries
I checked with both the venue (Prudential Center) as well as Ticketmaster. They say that tickets for UFC 78 will go on sale NEXT Saturday 10/6. Evidently, the UFC made a mistake.
