Joanna Jedrzejczyk had a breakout year in 2015, and it looks like the UFC has big plans in store for its strawweight champ.
According to a report from the Polish publication MMA Rocks.pl, Jedrzejczyk recently told fans at a Q&A session in her native Poland, that she likely will be a coach for TUF 23. Since Jedrzejczyk is expected to fight Claudia Gadelha next, one would think the latter could be a coach on the show as well.
In a follow up report from Bloody Elbow.com, the outlet also noted that Tecia Torres recently said she had heard Jedrzejczyk and Gadelha will be the coaches for TUF 23. So there you go. Guess we’ll see what happens.
Jedrzejczyk and Gadelha battled last December, and Jedrzejczyk took the bout via split decision. Gadelha is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jessica Aguilar.
Jedrzejczyk, meanwhile, decisioned Valerie Letourneau in her last bout.
