I think i’m going to have to get that GSP shirt. The guymon one looks pretty kool too.
I like the Form stuff, and the Guymon shirt.
Yeah the form stuff looks like “uriah” stuff for sure. I’m a fan of the affliction stuff. Those t-shirts are pretty kool. I’ve seen mma clothing branching out to be let’s say a little more “stylish”? Like something you can wear on a “casual” night out and I think that’s kool.
Have you seen COutures hoodies? I got one for like 90$(no joke) but it’s worth it. Those hoodies are pretty sick dude.
Real quick, speaking of Couture and my gf.
My gf asked me to run her over to the Couture shop over at the mall under Caesar’s Palace, and I thought, “He11 yes, score some boyfriend points and check out the walkout wear. Bonus!”
Little did I know that there is a HUGE difference between “the Couture store” and a store called Juicy Couture.
For those not in the know, they haven’t a shred of MMA apparel, just truckoads of chick-wear.
And thats 90 minutes of my life I’m never getting back…
:(
lol funny stuff jcohl,
When a dude begins a relationship with a woman, he’s introduced to sooo many thing. It’s an eye opening experience and between you and me, i’ve spent time in jewelry stores that i will NEVER get back.
Dang, the guys over at RCVA are really working overtime to seperate me from my money.
First the Belfort shirt, and now the Penn boxer briefs.
Hmmm, maybe this is something I can con my gf into buying me…
;)
Good luck dude :D
RVCA is probably my favorite brand right now. They release awesome products one after the next. It’s a shame the UFC banned them.
why did the ufc do that?
Because they sponsor Fedor.
@ jazz – why does the UFC do anything?
Its almost always one of two reasons:
A) money.
or
B) someone, somewhere,at some time connected to RCVA p!ssed off Dana White, and we all know by now how well that goes.
or
C) combination of A and B.
Maybe RCVA didn’t pay Dana enough to flog their gear at UFC events, maybe when RCVA dropped that Fedor shirt Dana was still majorly p!ssed with M-1 Global, and in addition to tyrannically ordering Fedor’s name be removed from all existence, in an inspired “and your little dog, too” move, he threw in, “oh, and yeah, tell RCVA to go fu<k themselves with their cool new Fedor shirt".
;)
Remember Clinch Gear and Hendo?
Truth is, and no disrespect to any MMA apparel maker or fighttrends.com, but the PrimoHendo board shorts [brown and yellow] I got this year were the coolest non-Couture thing I'd ever bought, and that goes all the way back to my very first Team Quest tee and gear bag.
Clinch Gear does some great stuff, but Hendo owns Clinch Gear, and he's fighting in San Jose and not Las Vegas, so, y'know.
Eventually it'll get straightned out, because unless I'm very wrong, in a year or so RCVA will be right up there with Tapout and Affliction.
Not necessarily in sales and size, but in cool walkoutwear and people wanting to wear their gear.
In said year, or less, people might be chucking Affliction tees to make room in their closest for more stuff like that Belfort shirt.
And who knows where Belfort will be in his UFC career by then?
UFC 185 champion Vitor Belfort sounds pretty damned good to me, and it wouldn't be too snappy to have the champ's stuff banned, now would it?
RVCA and FORM are probably my favorite designs out there right now.
Oh fedor is the cause? That’s unfortunate! RVCA is a great brand but i think couture’s line is my current favorite.
Mine as well. That and Shoyoroll. You wont see Shoyoroll in teh UFC as they are a BJJ brand but I really dig their stuff.
Everyone should boycott Rampage and never buy anything related to him again
everyone should boycott you for the lack of reasons in your comment
the sliverstar shirt is a nice change from all the flashy art
I agree, I really like that Silver Star tee. Not a big fan of most of their designs but this on I really like.
I would have to say straight up the thing I dig most about the RCVA stuff, as well as FORM, is the “non-MMA-ness” of their gear, but which I mean no flaming skulls, no scrollwork, no nonsensical phrases…in short, no Christian Audinger-ization of their apparel.
Maybe I’m just getting old, but the stuff that appealed to me at 25 just seems lame now that I’m 33.
Plus, when I see some 50-something balding guy [who clearly hasn't been to the gym in years] standing out in front of Treasure Island trying to rock the same old Affliction tee Chuck Liddell helped make famous in like 2005-5 I’m not only embarrassed, but I throw it into the blue laundry bag [as soon as I get home], which is reserved for old shirts, sheets, and towels.
When the blue laundry bag is full, I wash everything, and drive it over to the animal shelter at which I adopted my dog, and leave it with them for the strays who get cold at night, along with a check for what I can spare to help cover their expenses.
Its not much, but I do what I can…
I rather liked Lauzon’s corner shirt.
I wonder if I can buy a GSP codpiece so I can look like George.
