After Rafael dos Anjos quickly dusted Donald Cerrone at UFC on FOX 17, and called out Conor McGregor, the latter is telling all challengers to get on “their knees” and to “beg” him for a fight….And yes, he has said this.
If you watched last night’s fight, then you know RDA quickly punted any plans for a Cerrone-McGregor bout down the line, by defending the lightweight title in vicious fashion. The champion came out charging, blasted Cerrone with a knee, kick and punches, and ended his night in 66 seconds.
Following the fight, RDA relayed to McGregor that he’d be willing to face the featherweight champ in Ireland, Brazil, or wherever. And what was McGregor’s response? See below.

Now, whether you’re a McGregor fan or not, you have to admit the guy knows business. Thus, as you see, he stopped short of outright saying ‘yes’ to the challenge of dos Anjos. While McGregor has said he wants to challenge for the lightweight title next, and Dana White has signed off on that, chances are a bout with Frankie Edgar is next.
Even though RDA is quickly becoming known as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport, McGregor – Edgar is the bigger fight at this juncture. That said, who doesn’t want to see RDA-McGregor as well?
