Efrain Escudero was believed to have suffered a broken arm after initially refusing to tap to a third-round armbar from Evan Dunham at last night’s UFC Fight Night 20 event, but Escudero today posted that he only suffered “messed up” tendons in the loss and is aiming for a rematch.
“Hey guys out the hosiptal nothing broke lil mess up tendenes. I will be back soon now in hungry!! And expect and Evan vs Efrain 2!!!,” wrote Ecudero on Twitter.
Escudero (13-1) won The Ultimate Fighter 8 in December 2008 with a decision win over Phillipe Nover, then remained undefeated last September with a first-round TKO of Cole Miller before suffering his first career loss to Evan Dunham last night.
