I’ve always like Miller, but the guy has to work on his stand up if he wants to contend.

Nice SoTN pick-up by Cole Miller…

  • Nick T says:

How did Daley get a bonus if he came in overweight?

    • fr702 says:

The NSAC wouldn’t allow him to cut the final pound, it isn’t like he came in crazy overweight, also he (Daley) lost only 10% of his purse not the “normal” 20%…. AJ didn’t recieve the KO of the night due to him coming in waay over weight, Daley was only a pound and Keith Kizer wouldn’t allow him to cut the last pound it wasn’t Daley’s decision

Besides….did you see it?? There was nothing of any comparison…

      • Nick T says:

Makes sense I guess, thanks for the explanation. And dbiz, I didn’t watch it live and haven’t seen clips yet, I don’t care how Yahoo and the UFC spun it after, on paper going in it wasn’t worth the money to me, maybe free at Hooters or Wild Wings.

      • Nick T says:

Didn’t mean to sound like I was attacking, no doubts from what I read that it wasn’t the KO of the night.

      • Justin says:

Well, the fights were worth seeing, and my money was well spent, IMO, so I guess you missed out. But at least you stood by what you said of not thinking it worth it, and also didn’t steal money from the fighters by streaming it.

Plus I’m not really sure that the NSAC, or any SAC for that matter, can dictate what bonuses the UFC, or again any MMA promotion for that matter, pays its fighters post-event.
Yes, they can penalize their purse, or stated payout, but I’m thinking that bonuses and undisclosed monies are a bit out of their arm’s reach…
