FightTrends LogoWelcome to the first annual FightTrends Top 9 of ‘09! Well, I guess it would also be the last annual since the top 9 of 2010 doesn’t have quite the same ring to it. Here are 9 of the most popular items from 2009.

  1. Fedor Emelianenko RVCA Strikeforce Walkout T-Shirt (purchase)
  2. Vitor Belfort RVCA UFC 103 Walkout T-Shirt (purchase)
  3. Sprawl Fusion Stretch Series Fight Shorts (purchase)
  4. TapouT Dan Hardy UFC 105 Walkout T-Shirt(purchase)
  5. BJ Penn RVCA Frost UFC 107 Walkout T-Shirt (purchase)

  • Hope you all liked the top 9 of 09. It was hard not to add 2 or 3 more RVCA tees on the list but I held back.

I knew that Fedor shirt was going to be number one, but my fave was the Belfort walkout, which is the single best piece of MMA apparel I’ve seen since Clinch Gear dropped those brown and yellow Primo Hendo boardshorts.
Still, good on RCVA for hitting ‘09 like Hendo creased Bisping, good on the frenZy and fighttrends.com for getting together, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what they all bring us in ‘10…

  • THanks jcohl. I like the Belfort shirt too but the Fedor shirt was by far the most popular. I hope RVCA continues to bring us awesome fight tees even though they have been banned by the UFC.
