I too, am glad I don’t bet UFC events. Another Whodda Thunk fight card. And yeah, Tyson Griffin put it to Tavares who was no slouch.

I think the fight of the night goes to Tyson Giffin and Tavares. Forrest Griffin definately gets the submission of the night, if not the year. It was definately the defining moment in Forrests carrer. I was shocked to say the least. Rua has never had a problem with conditioning( not that I’ve seen with the 10 min round? ) Chuck better up his game. Everybody nos not to charge in on him, and how shocked would a fighter be if he took them down. He has excelent wrestling skills, he might want to train in it again.

Well this certainly was a UFC event im glad I didnt put any money on, who would have bet against Rua, Sanchez and Liddell Losing? The fight of the ight in my opinion was Griffin and Rua Griffin proved he is at the top of the food chain and deserves respect from the other fighters within the division. Liddell in my opinion who I respect, didnt look like he was ever in the fight he has lost his hunger and I think he is going to have to rethink his future in the octagon as now he has 2 losses and its going to be an uphill struggle to get back on top.

Im with ya Red. Everything you just said. I am going to stop trying to call fights….everytime I have…I pick wrong. Shogun was very disappointing…I expected that to be a domination. Kudos to Griffin.

I absolutely loved UFC 76. The fights were so good, except the Machida vs. Nakamura fight. All the fights went to a decision except the Griffin/Rua fight. If Rua lasted 15 more seconds; that fight would have went to a decision, too. I can’t believe that Griffin made Rua tap. I still can’t get over my man Liddell losing to Jardine. I will always be a Liddell fan and he is still my favorite fighter and favorite fighter to watch. I am loyal and will stick with Liddell, even though he is on some hard times right now. He will be back, I guarantee it.
