Also since I haven’t mentioned this yet I was really surprised at the lack of stoppages. We all expected this card to deliver “knockouts” and although I felt the fights on the card were above average I was surprised just 3 fights were finished, one of them in the final 15 seconds.

Also, maybe it’s just my personal feelings but see no way the judges could have awarded round two as 10-8 for Jardine? Obviously they didn’t based on the score cards but Rogan kept saying it could be a 10-8 round. It was clearly a 10-9 round for Jardine but I don’t see anyway they could have scored it 10-8.

I thought Chuck was more impressive in this fight than some of his other fights but he was outpointed by Jardine who uses effective kicks to rack up points.

I am not to sure on the decision. To me this fight was closer than the Bisping-Hamill bout. I mean Jardine landed a lot of leg kicks but what do those mean if they don’t affect the fight? I thought Liddell had Jardine on his heels a lot more than the other way. It is what it is but what will the UFC do now with Wanderlei? He was obviously disappointed in the loss for Liddell but I still think that’s a match fans will want to see and the UFC should still schedule it.
