Norman Parke wasn’t able to score a highlight reel finish at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 76 card, but the Northern Ireland fighter did earn a hard fought, and crucially important victory over Reza Madadi.
Heading into the card, Parke was coming off consecutive losses to Gleison Tibau and Francisco Trinaldo. While both defeats were via split decision, no UFC fighter is comfortable when they’ve dropped three in a row.
After the entertaining bout, Parke spoke with a UFC team about the memorable fight. The bout also marked the first time Madadi had fought since 2013, as the latter served a 14 month prison term in between.
