(Updated) TJ Dillashaw to Train in Colorado, Not With Team Alpha Male For Next Bout

TJ Dillashaw hasn’t said his run with Team Alpha Male is over, but the UFC’s bantamweight champ has elected to leave Sacramento for his next training camp.

Yes, on Tuesday, Combate. com reported that Dillashaw has decided to train in Colorado for his January 17th bout with Dominick Cruz. Colorado, of course, is where Duane Ludwig’s gym is located, TAM’s former head coach. The coach who has had more than a few exchanges with TAM founder, Urijah Faber, in recent weeks.

Dillashaw has sent a statement to MMA Fighting.com, in which he confirmed his next camp will take place in Colorado. Dillashaw did say that his decision does not mean he’s no longer a “part of the Team Alpha Male family”.

The renowned fighter will be training with Elevation Fight Team in Denver, as well as Ludwig in Broomfield.

So, let the speculation and discussion begin, as to what this means for Dillashaw moving forward…
