Rory Markham Forced Off Of UFC 108
Yet another injury has struck a fighter booked for UFC 108, as Rory Markham has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout with Martin Kampmann due to an injury to his achilles tendon.
MMAWeekly confirmed the injury with Markham who told them he had injured the tendon a month ago, and re-aggravated it this past week.
Both Markham and Kampmann would have been looking to bounce back from recent first-round losses.
There has yet to be any information regarding whether a replacement opponent for Kampmann will be found, and if so, who.

I’m pretty bummed about this, Rory Markham is actually a really good fighter who just got caught by Dan Hardy. I was looking forward to him fighting Martin Kampmann, I figure he would’ve been able to KO him. Too bad, i hope they find a good replacement for Kampmann so another fight isn’t off this card, maybe Swick if he’s good after the beatdown Hardy gave him, or Marcus Davis, that could be a fun fight.
The C in UFC has developed alphabetiosis and will be replaced by D for its upcomming appearance.
