Tamdan McCrory will face Akihiro Gono at UFC 78 in November.
McCrory, who was one of the first rumored fighters for the New Jersey card, is undefeated in MMA competition. He began fighting professionally in June of last year and has amassed 8 wins. In his UFC debut “The Barn Cat” defeated veteran Pete Spratt with a triangle choke in the second round.
Gono holds a 27-12-7 mark in MMA fighting most recently in PRIDE. He has won 9 of his last 11 bouts and will make his UFC debut against McCrory. Gono defeated Yuki Kondo at PRIDE Shockwave 2006, his last MMA bout.

Gono is a good fighter and he is used to fighting guys that are bigger than him. Gono will be the bigger fighter now on and I think he is going to beat McCrory. I don’t think Gono will have too much of a hard time with McCrory’s height and reach. Gono should win in the first round.
McCrory is an undefeated fighter who has never gone to decision without going past to the second round. Stating that Gono will win in the first round with those blanket statements is retarded. If McCrory loses, Gono will be hurting or half-dead. I’ve seen a barn cat take on a f***ing bobcat, so go figure.
