Brock-LesnarUFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, sidelined since falling ill in September, remains “very sick” and his future is still uncertain, according to UFC President Dana White.

“Tons of people keep asking me about brock. He is still VERY sick. We are unsure about his future,” White wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

Lesnar had been scheduled to fight Shane Carwin, first at UFC 106, then at UFC 108, but the matchup has been postponed indefinitely until it can be determined when or if Lesnar can return to action.

Damn, this sucks, I’ve always been a Lesnar fan, even when he was in the WWE. I know there is Brock haters out there but you can’t wish anything like this on a guy with that much talent. Hope to see him back in the Octagon soon.

  • Brawler says:

I am not a fan, I am a hater I am glad to see he is not gonna make a fool of the heavyweight division. I as well do not wish anything bad to the man, we all new he is the best, now we can get back to competive heavyweight fighting, besides how long you gonna hold that belt for when BOBBY LASHLEY IS IN THE SHADOWS<——- sorry to be a hater, and but get better Brock. A UFC FAN FROM UFC1 AND A MMA FIGHTER NOT A HEAVYWEIGHT LOL.

  • animosity says:

He will get over this, and be back in action. It’s kinda funny how many people hate this guy and yet “Can’t wait to see him fight again”. I don’t want him to come back until he’s 100%.

  • brucewayne says:

I hate that he is this sick, it leaves a huge hole in the division. I don’t like the guy but I do want to watch him fight. He has a lot of talent. If he can’t return it will leave a lot of what ifs. He’ll turn into some kind of mythical legend where people will say “no body could beat Brock in his prime”, and I would have liked to see if that was true and not just speculate.

  • chucker says:

I sure hope he gets over this and can keep going.
If there is any truth to the statements that he hasn’t been 100% in over a year, then if he gets back to full health then the HW division is in trouble. He already was proving to be dominant before.
Bobby Lashley has no chance against Brock. My hope is that Brock gets healthy fights 2-3 fights to get back in top form, then fedor finishes his current contract and comes to the UFC to fight real challengers, where I think he will get destroyed by a healthy brock.

  • Brian says:

Hope he gets better, there is no one better to watch knock someone out than he. HE is focused , driven and it shows he loves what he does.

    Supporting you from Minnesota

    Brian

  • Costa Pereira says:

Fedor Emelianenko Forever! The best in the world!
I hate Lesnar´s behavior as a fighter! He behaves as a savage! But as a human being I which him a quick recovery and all the best!

  • Chris says:

To bad Fedor Dodged Lesnar therefore he is not the best in the world.

    • jcohl says:

Lets not turn this into yet ANOTHER Fedor-Lesnar thread, friend.
      :)
If memory serves, about 40% of us here at the frenZy determined that in a hypothetical throwdown Lesnar would “silverback” Fedor, and the other approximate 60% feel that Fedor’s superior experience and skillset would allow him to catch Lesnar charging in, or hook and submit him in either the scrambles or the transitions.
IMO ’nuff said on that until such time that either Fedor signs with the UFC, and/or Lesnar returns to action…

  • sopranofan says:

I hope lesnar will get better soon I would love to see lasley lesnar fight that would be great for the fans of mma

    • Justin says:

When Lashley proves he is half as good of a fighter as Lesnar, then we can think about starting the Lashley v. Lesnar talk. IMO, that hasn’t come close to happening yet, so lets lay off it for a while, please.

      • jcohl says:

My business partner who is a rabid pro wrestling fan, and hardcore TNA wrestling supporter, tells me that all of the “buzz” coming out of that industry is that Lashley will be foregoing any further MMA fights, in order to concentrate on making big bank as the next TNA Wrestling “champion”…

  • Lewis says:

The Problem is He was Scared Of Shane Carvin. It was always an easy ride For Brock. He beat some has beens and intimidate Opponents with Less Size and Strength or Talent. It was a Boon from nowhere that He got sick because Now He and his Boss have some excuse. The fact is He is just sick and not that Serious. And take my words,He will come back and when he Loss to someone, they can say,he is was just 30% and if he wins They can still say, that he was just 50% and asks we fans what if He was 100%.All Crap. When the career is done,It will be sure that He was not in the Class of someone like Fedor or somone like that.He is,was and always will be a hype, who will never be remembered for his accomplishments but Big mouth and Hype.

  • scott says:

Like i have said many times before, i think he is the biggest disgrace to mma ever. personally i hope he recovers because i wouldnt wish that apon anyone. but professionally i wouldnt mind if he never fought again

Stick to one name. -Justin H

  • mmaman says:

sucks to be Brock. With or without the infection. He sucks. I hope he gets better though.

I’d say that constitutes bashing, we don’t allow that. -Justin H

  • Bruisersrevenge says:

First of all fedor is a bum, lesner would knock out fedor that’s why fedor took the easy way out went to strikeforce to fight a bunch of bums who can’t make it in the ufc. And if u want to sit there and say lesner fought a bunch of has beene that’s fine, but tell me who has carwin fought. Lesner fought much better talent then carwin, wow carwin beat gonzaga good for him.

    • jcohl says:

      “fedor is a bum”?!?!
      Jesus.
As anyone who’s visited the frenZy more than once can tell you, I’m no Fedorian, but inspite of my many, many posts questioning his best p4p status, his best HW status, or his best EVA status, I never called the guy a bum.
I never even called his supporters “bums”.
Fedor is a former firefighter, a former military veteran, a consummate sportsman, reportedly the greatest practitioner of SAMBO that’s ever lived, and has beaten pretty much everyone that he’s stepped in with, regardless of whether or not his detractors [of which I am one] thought they were “real competition”.
Fedor is many things, but a “bum”?

I’m sorry friend, but thats too harsh, even for me…

  • jazz says:

    Brawler,

dude are you serious? “with lashley in the shadows”? “now we can get back to competitive hw competition”? dude wtf!?

    • jcohl says:

Last I heard Bobby Lashley was down to about 245 pounds, dealing with a tweaked back that has prevented the TNA Wrestling company from giving him the role of champion, is adjusting to fatherhood, trying to live with what by all accounts is a seriously fu<ked-up female, and is supposedly in the process of renegotiating his TNA deal now that Hulk Hogan has entered the picture.
Even if half of that Internet noise is true, exactly where does that indicate that Bobby Lashley could survive even 1 round with a healthy Brock Lesnar?
Or Shane Carwin for that matter?

Please, spare me any more Lashley posts until the man has actually beaten somebody, and shown at least a passing interest in our sport, and pursues it for reasons other than promoting his pro wrestling career and scoring an easy paycheck from a desperate promoter…

  • CHUCK says:

So Brock’s behavior is bad but the Huntington Beach Excuse Machine’s is any better?!
Tito is an arrogant S.O.B. and with every loss burps up an excuse that smells like it came from his lower bowls – “I wasn’t 100%”. Tito hasn’t been 100% for years according to him, but he fights, looses and makes excuses. He talks trash before his fights and then looses, yet a whole lot of people think he is great and defend him and then hate Brock. I don’t get it.
Lesnar, like him or not, is the champion. He beat a fighter for the belt and has beat fighters to keep it. Whether you think he could or could not beat Fedor is an opinion. Until they fight, we’ll have to speculate.
I hope he recovers quick and comes back to fight soon.

  • buzzbradski says:

Brock is one of those guys that you either love or hate. He is too charismatic to be ‘on the fence’ about. I am in the ‘hate’ group. I can’t stand his attitude, style, demeanor, hell, even his haircut p!sses me off.

However, the HW picture is a helluva lot more interesting with him in it. Regardless of how much I hate him, I always look forward to his fights. It must have to do with the fact that it might be the night that he actually gets folded up.

So I hope he gets well soon and someday is healthy enough to compete again.

  • BRAWLER says:

Brock will come back half the size he was, and to top it off he is loosing part of his intestins which helps digest protiens and nutrition so it will be hard for him and he wont be effective in the UFC, IT SUCKS BUT STERIOIDS TAKE THE MAN OUT OF YOU. I got plenty of friends who have had this happen from the “JUICE” it brakes down the intestinal walls. BUT seriously BOBBY LASHLEY IS BETTER AND THAT IS NO WHAT IF.

  • BRAWLER says:

AND if you need to be spaired of the LASHLEY TALK THEN GO TO ANOTHER PAGE BEACUSE I WILL SAY IT ABOUT LETS SEE IF BROCK CAN MAKE THE 205 bracket first before we give him anymore credit, he has fought the same amounts of fights as Lesnor and aginst bigger better fighters then my boy FRANK MIR.

  • JENKINS! says:

WOW. I cant believe all the stupid, immature, disrespectful things I have read on this thread.

    BRAWLER,
Really? Hahaha. Wow… I dont even know what to say to that..
    Ridiculous..

Justin…somebody…anybody…do something with this guy.. because Im not even going to attempt to argue with that hahaha.

  • Brawler says:

You dont even know any history about Bobby, I do, have you ever trained with an animal like him? Bet not, When I have SO GET IT STAIGHT.

No Personal attacks allowed – Justin H

  • Jimmy's says:

Now anyone who steps in the cage has my respect. How can’t they. They are doing something many of us would not do. Brock. Fedor. Lashley. IMO. Brock beats both. I have followed brocks career since junior college. Never have I seen a man that big with that much natural athletic ability. I hope he gets better and he fights again. I have met the mab many times through his career and I was just a lowly Minnesota high school wrestler. And every single time he was a great man who would take time out of his day for his fans. God bless ya Brock and hope ya get better soon

  • andy h says:

The same thing happened to me i had to get major surgery though and it took me two years to just get back to light training.hope brock comes back soon.

    • frantzfanon says:

Agreed…I’ve said it before; we just need to keep Brock in our prayers. I can’t even imagine going through that kind of ordeal. As for everything else, it’s just that–everything else. Brock is the champ until someone caould beat him, regardless of how I or anyone else felt about him. Jimmy’s had it damn straight–anyone who steps in that Octogon is above, way above any question of their courage. This men and women are doing something most of us couldn’t dream or dare to do. Why else do we watch?
