Sengoku Teams Up With DREAM For Dynamite!! 2009 New Year’s Eve Event
World Victory Road’s Sengoku Raiden Championships has dropped plans to hold a competing New Year’s Eve event in Japan and will instead partner with Fighting and Entertainment Group’s DREAM for Dynamite!! 2009, the promotions announced on Wednesday.
The event, which is expected to air live on HDNet in the U.S., takes place on December 31 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
The combined card will feature 19-bouts, including 2008 judo gold medalist Satoshi Ishii’s MMA debut against 1992 judo gold medalist Hidehiko Yoshida, DREAM’s Super Hulk finale between Ikuhisa Minowa and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, as well as a handful of DREAM vs. Sengoku and K-1 matchups.
The current rumored card for Dynamite!! 2009 includes:
- Satoshi Ishii vs. Hidehiko Yoshida
- Masato Kobayashi vs. Andy Souwer
- Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Rameau Thierry Sokousjou
DREAM Super Hulk Finale

This is going to be a very interesting show, and its crazy cool that they decided to join forces for the NYE show, a very smart move, I think I might have to find this card @ a magical place where streams are not made of water
