TUF 10′s Darrill Schoonover Called Back to Active Army Duty

Darrill SchoonoverHeavyweight Darrill Schoonover, a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter 10, has been called back to active duty by the U.S. Army and is likely to serve in Afghanistan following his UFC debut on December 5 at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale, Schoonover revealed in a recent interview with Shambala Sports Radio.

Schoonover (10-0) defeated Zak Jensen via first-round triangle choke to advance to the tournament’s quarterfinals, where he’ll meet Marcus Jones for a spot in the semis. The final episode of The Ultimate Fighter 10 airs next Wednesday and features the remaining two quarterfinal matchups, as well as both semifinals before next Saturday’s live finale.
