is 60 days long enough for roli delgado after his knockout… geez im suprised he wasnt listed with some sort of facial fracture issue… but glad hes not
that last shot by andre winner was unnecessary by a long shot… i know it happens from time to time, but that one seemed deliberate just like hendos shot on bisping or cro cops shot on that dude he fought in the mask in pride .. i think dos caras
Usually when one gets KO’d they get a minimum of 60days suspension, sometimes even 90 days dependant on the AC, Europe does not have a AC so the UFC are using the guidelines of the NSAC, so 60 is the “norm”….
ah right i keep forgetting the AC is absent over there.. thats very interesting.. did they do the same in germany and upcoming in australia? i mean as in adopting the NSAC in those countries? or is there no governing body for mma besides the US for the UFC specifically?
sorry for all the questions, just interested..
I know for sure there is one here in Canada, they are tight as hell on it. I’ve never seen the commision doing so much hovering over activities compared to the other shows.
thanks figs, sounds like the canadian athletic commission runs a tight ship..
I think the UFC used the NSAC guidelines in Germany, in the absence of an AC, and I suspect they will do the same in Australia.
There definitely is an AC in Quebec, which is why there were not footstomps allowed at the last UFC held there. I hope they get/got that sorted out before they go back in May.
thanks for clearing that up justin, im going to keep up and look into it because the rules themselves can have a factor in mma fights, and even small tweaks in rules can have effect on outcomes i think
What does it matter how long his suspension is. Hes done in the UFC.
It matters because even if he’s cut by the UFC he still can’t fight somewhere else with that suspension.
Wow, surprised Hardy didn’t even get a minimum. Swick has ko’ed a lot of dude and he he Hardy clean a few times. That guy has a hell of a chin. I don’t think he will be much of a challenge for GSP, but he may hang in there londer than most of us will credit him for.
Jesus.
I knew Swick took a beating from Hardy, but that broken face thing sounds just awful…
