Igor Pokrajac, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic’s former sparring partner, will return to the Octagon at UFC 110 on February 21 in Sydney, Austrailia against Australian newcomer James Te Huna, according to Fighters Only.
Pokrajac (21-6) had his eight-fight winning streak snapped in his UFC debut in September, dropping a unanimous decision loss to a returning Vladimir Matyushenko.
Te Huna (12-4) has won six-straight, including three-straight knockout wins in 2009 to win CFC’s light heavyweight grand prix.
UFC 110 is headlined by Wanderlei Silva vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama and also includes Nate Marquardt vs. Chael Sonnen, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic vs. Ben Rothwell, and Stephan Bonnar vs. Krzysztof Soszynski.

Any word on if this is a free spike tv event? I’m just guessing yes, cause last year they had a UFC event in february and it was on spike, and theres already UFC 109 in early February. Any confirmation tho?
Haven’t heard anything about that, but since it’s outside of the country I would assume that to be the case, but 93 was a PPV and it was overseas.
I can’t imagine them charging for a PPV that happens in a location that has a 14 hour time difference (Sydney to east coast)
This would be an awesome card for Spike to air live. IMO this is a much stronger card than 105, which is going to be the free event this week. Wanderlei is obviously always exciting and Marquardt will be looking for a title shot. And then there is Cro Cop in what could be his last hurrah. Very intriguing!
great card for the aussie fans and iam goin to get to see it live.. my first live event ever coz im in NZ.. its pretty funny how there are no aussie fighters on the card yet.. but a new zelander great to see that happening lol hope te huna can stay in the ufc after this and does well
If us Aussies wanted to see Aussie fighters, we would go to an Aussie event. More O/S fighters please. When will this event + tickets be announced & go on sale?
Give us GSP and Brock Lesnar!!
If you mean that you want to see them return to action against a top 170er and Shane Carwin respectively, then so say we all.
If you mean that you want to see them fight each other, then you are perilously close to trolling…
yea i talkn bout prelims dude…
