UFC 189 continues to dominate headlines, not surprisingly, but tomorrow night Invicta FC 13 will go down and Cris “Cyborg” Justino will be in action.
The promotion’s featherweight champ will take on Faith Van Duin at the event, which will mark the first time “Cyborg” has fought since February, when she faced Charmaine Tweet.
Justino needed less than a minute to score her 13th pro MMA win, and in advance of Invicta FC 13, the UFC has posted the scrap’s video. You can watch it below. As you may or may not know, you can catch every Invicta FC card through UFC Fight Pass.
Of course, another reason the UFC is promoting “Cyborg’s” fight is because of the hope that at some point, she’ll face bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey. If Justino can get down to 135 successfully in the coming months, and if Rousey gets past Bethe Correia at UFC 190, that fight could happen. If it does, it. will. be. huge.
