Will Kerr Replaces Injured Alex Karalexis Against Kamal Shalorus at WEC 44 (updated)
Will Kerr has been tapped to make his WEC debut as a late-replacement for an injured Alex Karalexis, taking on fellow newcomer Kamal Shalorus at WEC 44 on November 18 in Las Vegas.
Karalexis was forced to withdraw from the bout due to a hand injury, according to the WEC’s announcement. A timeline for his return was not released.
Kerr (7-1) has won four-straight, but has not fought since a unanimous decision over Marc Stevens last September.
Shalorus (4-0-1) remained undefeated in June with a second-round TKO of Justin Miller.
WEC 44 airs live on Versus and is headlined by featherweight champion Mike Brown vs. Jose Aldo.

So apparently the Zuffa curse has jumped from the UFc to the WEC…
At first I thought this meant “Will Kerr replace injured Karalexis”, as in, will Mark Kerr replace Alex. Stupid me. Sucks another draw is off the main card.
