“Hecho en Mexico” wasted no time securing the submission over Drew Dober in Mexico City.
After a brief feeling process, a clash of kicks put Dober on the ground. Escudero immediately took advantage of the situation, took control of the head, and immediately locked up a tight guillotine. Escudero moved Dober against the cage, cranked the neck, and got the quick tap out from Drew Dober at just 54 seconds into the first round.
Drew Dober never got a chance to get comfortable as a slip left the American in a threatening position, and got caught on his way up. At least there wasn’t anything controversial about this submission loss as Dober gave several clear taps. Mexico can finally celebrate as one of their own takes home the win. Huge win for Efrain Escudero.
