The Fight Network is reporting that Quinton “Rampage” Jackson fractured his wrist just 3 weeks before he stepped into the octagon against Chuck Liddell at UFC 71 and walked away the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. After rehabbing the wrist Jackson is reportedly completely healed for his fight against Dan Henderson this weekend.
The report also states that “Rampage” would rather not face Liddell again fearing “The Iceman” will adapt his strategy and may come out victorious in their third meeting. Jackson won their first two meetings.

Props to Jackson for disposing of Liddell so quickly, but if they meet up for a third time; Liddell will KTFO Jackson this time around.
Alot of Chuck fan's my think Jackson is trying to dodge Chuck according to his quotes, but the truth is not too many fighters get a third chance when they are 0-2.
I've never been a Chuck fan and have always liked Rampage, but I wouldn't mind seeing a 3rd fight.
Oh god. So what Rampage broke his wrist and still fought. Chuck did 4 lines of coke and 16 shots the night before and you dont here him b****ing. HAHA, im just kiddin, im a huge Iceman fan, and if this is true…props to Jackson.
It seems that Jackson would prefer to avoid a third fight with Liddell. It is understandable, if he would want to fight someone else, since Liddell could have easily knocked Jackson out, if Liddell took a different approach in their last fight. Liddell is still a threat and a threat to anyone at 205 pounds.
A guy down 0-2 to someone, who completely has gotten dismantled while in the ring vs him. Anyone who is thinking "OH YA, 3RD TIMES THE CHARM. KTFO… JACKSON CLEARLY FACE DOWN" has no clue on what they're talking about. Chuck can be beat in a striking bout, it's already been proven by a non-striker (Randy the first time around[please, no comments about "oh well what happened the other two times?"..fact is he got destroyed in a striking match, vs a non-striker]) and vs a solid striker in Rampage (twice.). Chuck has fought a bunch of GNP/BJJ/wrestling/etc and no stand-out strikers to build up his name in the UFC. I want to see a 3rd bout between them, just so Rampage can systematically take him out again. The hype factor is there for him to fight anyone in the LHW division and give it some real good incentive to watch the fight – the striker-KO at any time factor.
With all the new talent, I don't see a 3rd match anytime soon, and don't want to unless that just the way the cards play out — those two wiping out the rest of the division with no one for either to beat but each other, or a bout to decide who fights for the belt next or whatever — but not just to give Liddel another chance at redemption.
