UFC 188 Weigh-In Results: Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdum is Official

The heavyweight unification title fight booked for UFC 188 tomorrow night is official, as both Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum made weight today in Mexico City.

The interim champ Werdum weighed in at 236 pounds for the highly anticipated bout, while the champ Velasquez, came in at 242 (after receiving a ton of support from the crowd). The heavyweights engaged in a lengthy, yet incident free stare down right after.

All of the fighters scheduled to compete tomorrow night made weight, included Eddie Alvarez and Gilbert Melendez. Both lightweights weighed in at 156. That bout will be Saturday’s co-main event.
