Kurt Pellegrino Out of TUF 10 Finale Bout With Frankie Edgar

Kurt Pellegrino has withdrawn from his lightweight matchup with Frankie Edgar scheduled for The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale on December 5, with Edgar announcing on Friday that Pellegrino had pulled out of the fight for undisclosed reasons, but that a replacement would be named soon.
According to Fanhouse, Matt Veach, who had been set to fight Mark Bocek on the event’s preliminary card, is the leading candidate to replace Pellegrino, who is suffering from three herniated discs in his back and will be sidelined at least three weeks, with the injury.

No kidding…I had a disc pop about a year ago. Drained out right into my spine. The worse thing ever. Then the pain killers and muscle relaxers kicked in…aaaaahhhhh. Couldn’t move for three days. Watched a lot of Price is Right and Justice League.
Herniated disks are no joke. Too bad for Kurt. THe ufc is having no luck with brock getting sick, alves getting hurt and now this. This sucks i wouldn’t to see this

With all due respect, Matt Veach IMO doesnt deserve a shot against Edgar.
Frankie should be fighting someone who is a bigger name so he can move towards a title shot. A fight with Stevenson for example makes more sense here. Joe has a big name at 155 and a win over him has allways seemed to give fighters a title shot so Edgar should be asking for that fight. Leave the Veach/Bocek bout alone Dana, youl just have more fighters without an opponent by doing that. A rematch with Tyson Griffin is also another option. Anyone who saw how close and how awesome their first fight was should know that a rematch would be fantastic. Besides those two no one else realy deserves to fight Edgar.
