definitly the fight of the night…..i think barry can do great things, also he is a very funny guy and has a good personality which is a operfect combination to be a champion but imo he is two short and has to weak of a ground game to be in the hw division….i think he would be much btter suited if he can cut down to the lhw division with most of them being big strikers so it would be a perfect fit….i think barry could dominate anyone standing at lhw
Barry delivered an impressive performance, moreso in that he essentially beat Hardonk at his own game, so to speak.
He has a lot of promise, but I’m not sure if I were Barry I’d be quick to call out Chieck Kongo, who has problems of his own at 107 with Frank Mir.
In the past I’ve commented on how Kongo is a relatively easy fight for someone with a strong ground game, but if Barry plans to fight Kongo the way he fought Hardonk, he’ll definitely be in another KO of the Night fight, but probably on the wrong end of said fight…
Pat Barry…I compare him to Marcus Davis, or Clay Guida. I don’t think he’ll win a title, but SO much fun to watch. That second round was so great..to watch his whole personality change mid-fight…only to have him get so emotional when he won. I’m a sucker for that stuff.
There’s a potential factor there, I agree…but at least Guida was a fight away from a title shot. It’ll take a while before Barry’s that close, and he’ll have a lot of great guys he’d have to get through.
Pat’s jab was wicked for a HW. I would like to see more of him.

Good fight. fight of the night. KO of the night….? I’d be more likely to give it to Rumble
I believe Rumble forfeited that bonus as one of the penalties of not making weight, otherwise he would have definitely taken it.
Ahhhh yea great point

He is more impressive than Guida IMO.
