Martin KampmannWelterweights Martin Kampmann and Rory Markham have agreed to square off at UFC 108 on January 2 in Las Vegas, according to MMAjunkie.

Kampmann (15-3) compiled a 4-1 UFC record at middleweight before dropping to welterweight, where he emerged as a potential contender with back-to-back wins over Alexandre Barros and Carlos Condit earlier this year before suffering a first-round knockout to Paul Daley in September.

Markham (16-5), a veteran of the IFL, won his UFC debut over Brodie Farber last July via first-round knockout, but was himself knocked out in the first-round by Dan Hardy in February.

The pay-per-view UFC 108 event is expected to be headlined by middleweight champ Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort and is also reported to include Rashad Evans vs. Thiago Silva and Carlos Condit vs. Paul Daley.
