Chris Leben vs. Jay Silva Added to UFC Fight Night 20
Chris Leben will look to snap a two-fight losing streak when he returns to the Octagon against Jay Silva in a middleweight matchup at UFC Fight Night 20 on January 11 in Fairfax, Virginia.
MMAjunkie confirmed the bout on Saturday, the fifth fight added to the Spike TV-televised event since it was first reported on Thursday.
Leben (18-6) followed up back-to-back knockouts of Terry Martin and Alessio Sakara with losses to Michael Bisping and Jake Rosholt and also served a nine-month suspension for testing positive for steroids following his loss to Bisping last October.
Silva (5-2) made his UFC debut in September, dropping a unanimous decision to CB Dollaway at UFC Fight Night 19.
The matchup joins Josh Koscheck vs. Mike Pierce, Efrain Escudero vs. Nik Lentz, Tom Lawlor vs. Aaron Simpson, and Mike Guymon vs. Rory MacDonad on the UFC Fight Night 20 card.

The UFC certainly is loyal to their Ultimate Fighter originals.
Really stacking up UFN 20, aren’t they?
Leben should win this one!
Jay Silva looked impressive against CB. I love Leben but i’m gonna say that Silva’s gonna knock him out in this one.
I like Jay Silva to win as well, but he’s not gonna knock him out.
And Aaron Simpson should be fighting someone better than Tom Lawlor.lol
I’ve only seen Leben get knocked out once by another silva
which is why i said that. But yeah, i know its unlikely.
But Lawlor is mad underrated along with several other fighters buts that a whole another story. Its gonna be a tough match for Simpson
I don’t know, I like Chris Leben but i don’t seem him winning to many more matchups in the UFC.
i like watchn leben but if he looses which i think he will they shuld let him go..i think he shuld concerate on his gym in hawai.ive been down there a couple of months ago and leben seems more passionate about teaching and bringing up new fighters than actually fighting.dont get me wrong he still a bad ass fighter but just seems more dedicated in his school which is good for him..
They should just put Leben in a Helium balloon and let him float way.
gatekeeper. they need his name like others for up and comers
i see nate quarry more like the gatekeeper for 185
leben should probably consider a drop to ww. he might be a top contender at that class.
chris lebn fights too much like a robot
Oh hell yeah! I go to Pat center to watch UWC everytime. Can’t wait for this one. I will be getting floor seats.
