Conor McGregor Says Mayweather-Pacquiao “Felt More Like a Business Transaction Than a Fight”

Boxing had the sporting world’s spotlight on it last night, as superstars Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao finally threw down in Las Vegas. Early on, Pacquiao buzzed the crowd by landing some big shots, but Mayweather, as many predicted would be the case, proved to be too fast and too elusive, and went on to win a decision.

So, in other words, the bout didn’t exactly feature the kind of action that keeps people talking for days and days….as many folks also said would be the case.

The fight took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, which is where in a couple of months time, Conor McGregor will battle featherweight champ Jose Aldo (Dana White recently compared the fight to Mayweather-Pacquiao). Not surprisingly, “Notorious” had a few things to say about Mayweather-Pacquiao as well as his upcoming fight via Twitter:

Aldo-McGregor will go down on July 11th at UFC 189. Could that fight fail to deliver on the massive hype that’s tied to it? Possibly, but not very likely…

McGregor is coming off a stoppage win over Dennis Siver in January to lock up a title shot, while Aldo’s latest title defense went down in October, when he decisioned Chad Mendes.
