UFC 107 is going to be bad dude!
ALves is going to kill paulo dude. Wow i don’t know what paulo thiago did but he’s got 3 top 7 ww’s right off the bat!

I hope kongo has worked his grappling and ground game or he’s getting subd in the first.

    • Gunslinger says:

i wouldnt be so sure jazzy kongo has good takedown defense when he isn t facing a world class wrestler……..I think if kongo drops mir we are gonna see the return of frank mirs always biggest problem , taking shots while hes on the bottom, he can never recover when someone is on top of him when he rocks ill have kongo by tko rnd 2 on dec.12

      • daniel-chop-chop says:

hi im new here but been lurking in the frenzy and respect both gun and jazz… enjoyed reading your thought… yeah mir is quick to be flustered once a few shot from the top land.. could give him a flash back to ufc 100

      • jazzkok says:

Welcome Daniel-chop-chop and thanks for the props dude!

      • jazzkok says:

        Gun,

good point dude. I think i was judging his grappling abilities based on his fight with cain. He just got manhandled and that’s something i’m sure mir has noted. Mir’s likely not going to try and trade with kongo that much and definately shoot and try to sub him. If he doesn’t then kongo will get the tko imo.

    • HendoFan says:

Bad??? I hope when you say bad you mean wicked! I’m more stoked for 107 then 104 or 105 for sure! Penn/Sanchez, Guida/ken flo will be 2 of the most exciting LW matchups of the year (excluding FOTYC sanchez/guida). Then you got Mir/Kngo which should be a dandy. I expect mir to not show off his “excellent standup” and go back to basics and dominate kngo on the ground. And then who does’nt like a good KO when Alves KO’s thiago. Gonna be a fun card for sure

  • daniel-chop-chop says:

lets go Bones!! Hamill is merely an appetizer for jones i think… yeah totally alves is going to punish

  • huertarogerhuerta says:

as a new yorker the word wicked is only to b used when mocking bostonians. so i will say dec is going to b a good month for ufc fights. or as u red sox fans would say while watchin the yankees go to the world series “im wicked excited for dec there should b some wicked awesome fights now lets go sell some caars” sry i just had to

  • daniel-chop-chop says:

As far as bj vs diego goes, i think bj has the superior stand up, but you diego is as game as anyone to keep it standing.. are we ever going to see another KO from diego a la Diesel Riggs or was that a chance happening and diego just doesnt have that power…

    • ckdiesel says:

seeing as BJ has never been knocked down, im going to think that diego wont be able to knock him out. plus IMO bj has way better boxing then Diego, and if you go to the ground with penn your going to get subbed, unless youre greatness (GSP). plus with penns new camp he probably wont get beaten for a while. will be a great scrap though.

  • ckdiesel says:

Mir may not be as uncomfortable on the bottom as some may think. dont forget thats where he subbed the vanilla gorilla, but thats where he also got beat by him. kongo wont be able to nuetralize mir’s ground game like lesnar did. plus, frank has already said that he plans on taking it to the ground so look for a sub in the first by mir.

dana must have really wanted a kos/GSP (or greatness..fr) rematch and for paulo to throw a wrench in his plans is looking to ruin his previously unbeaten record indefinately. he might be a better matchup for someone like trigg, but alves will win by way of something horrible.

bones/hammil will also be a good fight, but i see there being a problem when jones wont be able to throw him at will.. however, i do see jones in a contedership picture soon.

  • jcohl says:

107 is indicative if the sorts of events that the UFC should be putting on from here on out.
They have the deepest roster, the deepest pockets, and by far the deepest market penetration in North America.
The one thing we should NEVER be seeing again is some lame-a$$ card, unless it’s a free-per-view.
And yeah, the UFC should quit giving the UK sh!t cards as well, if they’re serious about MMA blanketing the UK the way they have the US and Canada…

  • ct says:

Bones will not walk over Hamill.. are you fing stupid… I could see it going either way.. Hamill by UD, But ufc 107 is gonna be sick.. i will be there… Penn by sub/4th rd… Mir by sub/1strd… Ken flo by split…

  • nickageb says:

Can’t wait to see BJ fight again I always get worried before he fights but I think this will look alot like him vs Stevenson. (though IMO Diego is better than stevenson) and I’m callin for Jones to finish Hammill, but IDK that guys got a hard head and hes really heavy on top

  • love4thedead says:

Mir will sub Kongo early. Alves will destroy Paulo. Diego doesn’t have a prayer.Hamill by ud.
