Kendall Grove vs. Jake Rosholt Announced for UFC 106 Prelims
A matchup between middleweights Kendall Grove and Jake Rosholt has been added to the preliminary card for UFC 106 on November 21 in Las Vegas, the UFC today announced.
Grove (10-6), the winner of The Ultimate Fighter 3, had won two-straight over Evan Tanner and Jason Day before suffering a unanimous decision loss to Ricardo Almeida at UFC 101 in August.
Rosholt (6-1) had his undefeated record snapped in his Octagon debut against Dan Miller in February, but rebounded at UFC 102 in August with a third-round submission of Chris Leben.
The UFC also confirmed on Saturday two previously-reported fights, Jon Fitch vs. Ricardo Almeida and Karo Parisyan vs. Dustin Hazelett, which will be featured on the UFC 106 pay-per-view main card headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin and Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin.

I hope Rosholt wins, but I don’t think that will happen.
I think this is Rosholt’s fight to lose. I see him banging out the decision with superior wrestling. (fingers crossed in hope)
Love watchin Grove fight, always exciting with his crisp muay thai. His chin is questionable tho. I didn’t get to see him fight Almeida last time cuz there was a strom and BW’s has satelite…. We were chanting “DITCH THE DISH!!! DITCH THE DISH!!!” the whole time
Kendall is one of my fav fighters to watch. He is one of the guys that when he gets some solid fights underneath him and he learns from his past that I think he could abuse some people. His lankyness and striking is fun to watch.
I hope karo gets stomped
I like Rosholt in this fight hopfully “da spider” will try and foot stomp him so I can watch him scream “don’t do that”

Nope. Grove’s been on the prelims before (UFC 96) and Danzig was too at UFC 100. Might be more as well.
And Lutter got cut from the organization.

Poor Lutter indeed, although I really don’t count him as an “Ultimate Fighter” show winner as he was already a UFC fighter; season 4 although one of the better seasons was more about a title shot than becoming an Ulitimate Fighter.
I really wouldn’t mind seeing another Ultimate Fighter season based around a title shot, maybe at 155, when the UFC and WEC merge.
I would love to see a field of men like Varner, Cerrone, Henderson, Maynard, Sherk, Florian, Diaz, Sanchez, Miller, Miller, etc. all vying for a shot at “BJ’s belt”…
