TJ Dillashaw opened a lot of people’s eyes last year by taking out Renan Barao and laying claim to the UFC bantamweight belt, but the former champ clearly doesn’t like how the American’s been carrying himself since.
Dillashaw stopped Barao last May, and in doing so, became the first man in over 30 fights to defeat the Brazilian star. Dillashaw went on to KO Joe Soto last August, and now he’s been booked for a rematch with Barao on April 25th.
Well, recently Barao spoke to MMA Junkie.com, and had this to say about Dillashaw:
“It’s a lot of nonsense,” Barao said. “He’s boasting a lot about himself and this is not going to be good for him in the fight. He’s way too cocky. He just got the belt. He thinks he’s already defended the belt against me and he’s speaking about fighting other people. He’ll see what happens. Just wait.”
Yes. We shall see indeed. UFC 186 will go down on April 25th at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
