I give Chuck props for effort.
Why Chuck though? I can think of only 1 fighter whould would look WORSE on a dance show than Chuck and that is Kieth Jardine.
My wife watches both dancing and MMA and when she told me Chuck was on, I said he has a permafrown.
Funny but Dana didn’t think he would make weight and they bet $10,000 on it. Chuck was apparently weighing in close to 250 a few months earlier but cut down to 213lbs and Dana lost the bet and the 10 grand.
Chuck was clearly not the best dancer but also far from the worst. There was at least 2 stars on the show much worse than him.
i don’t think Liddell did that bad for a first timer, hopefully he can stay on for a few weeks and improve, got to admit that i enjoyed the shoe, it was entertaining and the pro dancer women are super hot and beautiful….:)
I’d like to see Wanderlei on Dancing With The Stars, that would be awesome or even Cro-cop, since he looks like a Terminator Robot it be funny to see the dude smile and have a good time for once.
FAIL. It’s a sad day for Professional MMA fighters. I wish I hadn’t seen it.

Wow, are you guys serious? This was a GREAT moment for mma and for the UFC. I have never been a Chuck fan but i have to honestly say that watching the dude on a famous show was pretty damn kool! But the fact the Dana and the fertitas were there was the icing on the cake! I’ve never seen this show and only tuned in to support mma but for a first time viewer i have to give chick lidell credit. He was hella out of his comfort zone in fron of a national audience and he still wasn’t terrible.
I can’t really give it a thumbs up, because from what everyone tells me I take MMA a little too seriously, and I won’t give it a thumbs down because not only does it take a lot of ba11s to do something like ballroom dancing on network TV when you’re Chuck Liddell, so I guess I give it a thumbs in the middle?
It’s kool jcohl, i’ve been told i take mma too serious and that i take certain managers commenst too serious…:D So i’ll give a thumbs up for the both of us!
Dude as a uber hardcore mma fan, i’m proud to see the sport growing and gaining more attention and with dudes like lidell going on shows like this and showing that fighters are not animals or “homosexuals rolling around on the ground”, the sport will also gain more respect.

Smile Chuck smile! He looks confused while he’s dancing, like he wants to hit or throw Anna, but when he smiles its like he’s saying…no no I wasn’t thinking on flipping you out of the dance floor, just here to catch you and spin…seriously his smile is so funny.

I don’t know what was funnier…Chuck trying to dance, Chuck trying to smile, or Dana and the F Brothers HYSTERICAL laughing.
Also, I didn’t like the one judge using the term “Neanderthal”. (sp?) I thought it was VERY rude, because as funny as I found this, I give Chuck WORLDS of credit for trying. I don’t dance. Chuck looked like freakin’ Fred Estaire compared to me…but the “Neanderthal” comment just rubbed me the wrong way. I don’t think a boxer would have been spoken to like that, and it shows how far away the world truly is from “getting” MMA.

I agree about the Neanderthal comment…uncalled for and it did upset me a little bit to hear that. But otherwise, this was absolutely priceless for me.
You could go back and review season one, Evander Holyfield was on there that season, and see if they called him a neanderthal.

Did anyone else find it odd that Chuck was angled as a brute, while Iron Chef Dude was shown as a martial artist??
