While the women’s bantamweight division has center stage this Saturday at UFC 184, the card will also feature the return of former welterweight contender, Josh Koscheck.
The 37 year-old vet, who will battle Jake Ellenberger, will be stepping into the Octagon for the first time since November, 2013, when he was KO’d by Tyron Woodley.
The UFC has released an interesting segment called “Welcome Back Kos”, which features Koscheck discussing why he elected to take a break, following the loss to Woodley.
The accomplished wrestler and powerful slugger points out that while he’s lost three straight, all of them came against top tier competition in Johny Hendricks, the champ Robbie Lawler and the aforementioned Woodley. The loss to Hendricks was by split decision.
