Overall I give this UFC a 7 out of 10.
I think that the UFC has to sign Fedor and Randy v.s. Fedor is our next big super fight!
If Fedor wants to fight B level fighters for more money then let him. The UFC has given him the best offer. All they ask is he doesn't fight in any other organizations as long as he is under contract. Is that too much to ask? If your paying $1mill for a fighter, would you let him go out and possibly get injured or KO'd? I think not.
If Fedor doesn't sign, he needs to be taken off the top 10 in the rankings.
and so ends one of the biggest-uncalled for over hyping of a fighter in the history of MMA. RIP Gonzaga. BIG SHOCKER.
How the hell did Randy win again. This is insane. I have doubted the guy the last 2 fights. I wonder what would happen if Chuck Liddell went heavyweight……,
If Liddell went to Heavyweight; he might not be able to beat Couture again. I love both fighters: Liddell is my favorite and then my second favorite is Couture, but I think Couture would win.
Chuck wouldn't be nearly as effective as a heavyweight. He really isn't known for his trainning, and he wouldn't carry his punching speed into a bigger body. Oddly enough, I think he would lose some of his punch power because of the way he punches.
I think if Dana White doesn't make the Fedor/Randy fight happen, it will be a travisty. It is the one thing Randy needs to do before he retires to prove he is the greatest of all time.
Huerta and GSP have proven their worth to me. Huerta using the jumbotron to see where Crane was positioned behind him impressed me to the max. And GSP dominating Kos in wrestling, OH MY GOD.
I agree with everything you said SCOTCYDOW. I was shocked to see Koscheck get humiliated by GSP in wrestling. I thought GSP was crazy when he said he thought he was a better wrestler than Koscheck.
I doubt the UFC would ever risk Chuck at heavyweight because you just don't know how many more times he'll fight and he did so well at light heavyweight.
Also, I would rank UFC 74 about UFC 73 and above average overall.
This was sooo much better than UFC 73 — I hope UFC 75 lives up to the expectations as well
I hope so as well but having it for free lowers the expectations I think. Although I will be discussing it on and off over the next few weeks we will be doing 2 live coverage and conversations for UFC 75 – One when the event is happening (afternoon ET) and one when the event airs in the US on Spike.
Are many people planning on checking the site live or will you wait until it's on Spike?
