Belfort, Story, and Foster Earn UFC 103 Fight Night Bonuses
Vitor Belfort, Rick Story and Brian Foster each earned $65,000 “fight night” bonuses at Saturday’s UFC 103 event at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, UFC President Dana White announced at the post-fight press conference.
UFC 103 headliner, and former UFC champion Vitor Belfort earned “Knockout of the Night” with is first round knock out of Rich Franklin. Belfort’s knock out of Franklin edged out several other finishes to earn the award including Tyson Griffin’s stunning knockout of Hermes Franca, and Josh Koscheck’s knock out of Frank Trigg.
Rick Story and Brian Foster earned “Fight of the Night” honors for their bout which ended a string of lackluster fights on the event’s undercard, and re-energized the crowd. The two fighters went to war in the first round, both standing and on the ground, before Story submitted Foster early in the second. Story also received “Submission of the Night” for his arm triangle finish of Brian Foster.

I think Paul Daley should get a “we didn’t see that coming” bonus for shutting down Martin Kampmann.
I thought he was going to lose tonight, but me and a few others in the forum thought it would be by Swick-o-tine, which I think is Gunslinger’s favorite MMA submission…

I thought Kampmann would take him to the ground and sub him in the 1st round. Daley is tough as nails but hes a fish out of water once it hits the mat. I thin Martin just got caught up and forgot his gameplan.
So…Story got 130K in addition to his base and win? Hell of a night for him.
Yeah Story got paid. That is awesome to see. That was a war. I’m salty my boy Rich got KTFO I kinda actually expected it though oddly enough. Man I give Cro-Cop mad love after that performance even in a losing effort that was a bang they both impressed the he!! out of me. Good $h!t Daley. I bet Swick is even more sick about his injury seeing Daley take full advantage of the situation. Awesome night.
